Starting to look like a "real" house!

My internet access has been severely limited this week, which cut down on my blogging. Here's bunch of things that were done in the past week.


I installed the curtain rods in the living and dining rooms. We also decided that we did NOT like the curtain's we'd bought for there, so we returned them and ordered some online from JC Penney. (they're not in yet!)
The tilers came on Wednesday and installed tile in the entry way:
and then the carpet installers came yesterday and installed carpet in the living rooom and down the hall:(G. and I bought quarter round to finish the carpeted and bamboo'ed areas; we'll try to get that done this weekend)

And Mom made her first post-surgery trip out to Home Depot to pick up the NINE windows:and to order the cabinets for her kitchen. We're moving right along and the end is in sight!
